Bedugul tourist area is located about 50 kilometer to the north of denpasar , or between an hour or two by car from kuta beach, depending on the treaffic condition . Tourist visiting Bedugul will normally spend their time to see the uniquely beautiful Ulum Danu tample situated at the edge of lake Bratan.The temple seems to rise from the center of the lake and is surraounded by a beautiful green park . It is no wonder that Ulun Danu tample has become one of the most photographed objects.

Lake Bratan offers a lot of woter sport activities suitable for whole family members, including parasaiing, jet sky , canoeing and fishing . Apart from water sports , Bedugul also has agolf course, the bali Handara Kosaido Golf and country club. There is also a famous track to do trekking through two adjacent lakes, lake Buyan adn Lake Tamblingan, which heads to gua Jepang ( japan cave ) and puncak mangu temple . Trekking and cycling though  a popular route around Jatiluwih rice field are among tourists favorite activities . Also try a Strawberry garden between lake Buyan and Lake Bratan , which does not only offer strawberries but also mikshakes and a variety af lokal snacks.

Bedugul also has a botanical garden , namely eka kartya botanical garden , which is located at candi kuning complex. The garden , better known as Bedugul Botanial garden , is fomous for its amazing collection of orchids. To entertain families . Bali tree top provides outdoor facilities such as flying fox and a brige ala Indiana Jones movies . Not too far the east are the fabulous natural tourist site, including Gitgit, Munduk and kembar waterfalls, as well as Angseri and Penatahan hot springs.
